- A participant has to submit a single film as per the festival’s theme.
- Submitted film can be fiction/non-fiction/documentary/animation/musical.
- Duration of the theme-based film should not exceed 30 minutes.
- The film can be in any language, but it needs to have hard coded English subtitles.
- The film must have been shot in India.
- All participants need to send their films in MP4 format with maximum file size of 1GB through Google Drive/We-Transfer.
- Participants also need to share a poster design of their submitted film in A4 size JPG format. Further, participants can also send some production stills to us for promotional purpose.
- Participants should provide a 50-100 word synopsis of the films they are submitting.
- Films which have incorporated copyright visual footage or music from other film/tv/youtube or vimeo videos will not be accepted.
- Selection will be made purely on the basis of originality of thought, execution, storytelling and presentation.
- Films previously entered into and screened at this festival are not eligible for re-entry in subsequent years.
- The festival reserves the right to reject any submission deemed by the Festival to be inappropriate.
- All submissions are screened and evaluated by IFF Preview and Selection Committee which will select ten final films for final evaluation by a jury committee. The jury will select best three films from the ten.
- Participants will be communicated via email only and the list of finalists at each stage will be announced on our Facebook page. The final winners will be announced at our prize giving ceremony on the mentioned date.
- All the participants will be felicitated and the finalists will be awarded at the event to be held on the mentioned date during which only the 3 Winning Film will be screened.
- All the winners will be awarded cash prize. First film will receive Rs.20,000/- and the runners up will receive Rs.10,000/- each.
- There is no entry fee required for entering into festival.
- The festival reserves the right to use the theme-based films of all the participants for promotional purpose in FACEBOOK, YOUTUBE and other social media sites.
- The submission of a film to IFF will be considered to be an acknowledgement of the festival rules.
